We have a table at the Menomonie WI Market and Co-Op today to promote our CSA and sign up some new members for this season.
Look forward to meeting everybody and chatting with other CSAs in the area. And displaying some of my needle felted crittets… The perfect “aaaawwwww”
Membership registrations are steadily rolling in and I am checking off seed and supply orders, planning planting schedules and labor needs, and thinking about the farm days/festivals for the season. Ideas are flooding my mind and have me smiling in anticipation of all the amazing things to come this spring and summer. And they are coming soon, really… In just a few weeks I will be planting the first seeds. Wheee… I am excited.:)
It is almost Christmas and with new member registrations flooding in I am immersed in my seed catalogs fantasizing over which yummy veggies to grow for my first season… Despite the cold weather and the snow on the ground I am antsy to go out in the greenhouse and start planting!
Of course I have to hold my horses. I don’t have all my supplies yet anyway, nor have I completed my seed order. But my eagerness is fueled by my evenly eager new members who are telling me they believe in me and can’t wait for their fresh picked veggies!
For now, I try to sit back and enjoy the view of my kittens enjoying the view of the calm and peaceful winter landscape…
Welcome to Felicity Farm, a peaceful parcel of land set in beautiful rural northwestern Wisconsin.
As a brand new CSA we open our doors and growing operations in Spring 2017 to head off our first season. Member registrations are now open and we welcome all new members. We still have a good number of openings. If you are interested in joining or would like to refer a new member, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
As our name Felicity Farm suggests, we truly find the utmost joy, happiness, fulfilment, and pleasure in growing healthy, beautiful organic foods, and in our connection with the land. Each morning we rise to the rooster’s call and after a good cup of coffee, head out into the fields.
